2nd lesson on theme 4- 26/1/08

Here is the updates!!

Wonderful lesson, craft making for the new year..Using straws, red packets, the kids use their imagination to do up some decorations. - Fan designs.

1st lesson on theme 4- 19/1/08

It is the rat year, the students are supposed to learn advanced drawing and colourings according to what they feel their animals should be like..However not all the students wishes to draw rats, so I altered accordingly, and guide them.

4th lesson on theme 3

Sorry for late updates., was busy.. haha, the 4th lesson I did not snap any pics, but the students did hands-on stuff- BEE, Worms. everything.. It was wonderful and they enjoyed alot..=)

3rd lesson on theme 3- 5/1/08

It's Creative Art again..I have decided to do up the room into a more artistic place. Children will feel cosy and happy when they see their work being recognised.

On the 3rd lesson: 5/1, I let the kids do a new range of art. Using origami coloured paper, they cut into any shapes and sizes they like to paste on their design. Wonderful isnt't it.. I allowed and trained them to decide for their own, how they want to design their drawings using external resources.. They had a wonderful time!

theme 3- 22/12 and 29/12

Hey people, I am back to blog..

Look at the notice board.. I did it up again in the morning while waiting for the kids to arrive..

Behind them are the art pieces they did for the first 2 lessons of theme 3. They did the Christmas card, so that they can send their greetings and write their wishes, and it was well done up. Mr Ng, another trainer, replaced me on 22/12, because me and my manager, Mr Peh had to run another art event at Blk 509 serangoon.

Next on 29/12, they did a printing image. They enjoyed alot and they had fun.

15dec- last lesson of theme 2

I am back to blog my sat lesson.. The kids learnt how to make lilies using simple materials and simple drawing. Though they faced difficulties tracing out their hand, they managed to complete it.

Using pencils. tracing or drawing will be more tough for the younger ones, but in Alpha Plus, we give them time to adapt and slowly they will improve.

We trust in providing guidance, time and fun when teaching them ;)

Look at their happy faces, playing around with ther lilies while I am taking pictures of them!!

8 dec- 3rd lesson of theme 2

"Hi people, can you see my faces"?

On this lesson, they made different faces that they want, be it surprise face or happy face. Using black yarn to make their eyebrow, crayons to draw and colour, paper plates and straw for them to hold or hang..

The kids enjoyed it very much, especially coming to drawing and colouring their hair, their eyebrow..It is a very real experience because what they draw actually portrays their character and feelings at that instant..

Well done kids! Will be back to blog my 4th lesson for theme 2, coming this sat!!
